Our eighth graders are working ona comparative literature study. |
| Seventh graders are doing a history of the printed word unit. | Sixth graders are working on study skills which include an atlas unit. |
| Fifth graders are doing a "Fear factor" biography unit. | Fourth graders will be doing an Illinois research project. |
| Third graders are studying the card catalog and working with call numbers | Second graders are beginning a dictionary study.

| First graders are working with the alphabet. | The kindergarteners are enjoying traditional fairy and folk tales. |
| Preschoolers are visiting the library once a week for twenty minutes of listening to stories. | |

The Author's Fair is an opportunity for creative writing for grades 6, 7, and 8. Information about this project will be available in early February. They may write a collection of poetry (minimum of 8), short stories, a children's story, etc. (minimum of 5 paragraphs). These will be judged and then be on display when we celebrate National Library Week. |
