| Math - Did you forget your Math book. You can now see to your book ONLINE. Click on Mathematics : Applications and Concepts , click on the online student edition, then use "user name" - MAC104 and password - STaspEdUw2 You will need "Adobe Acrobat" to read the PDF file pages. Click on the Table of Contents, find the chapter, and you can print off the page we are working on. |

| Responsibility - a HUGE word in 6th Grade. We try to instill a greater sense of responsibility, especially in regards to getting assignments turned in, and not having to be reminded constantly to do so. We believe it is time for the students to become MORE responsible, with parents and teachers becoming less. This means paying close attention, so that special directions or assignments will not be missed. Did you write your assignments down in your assignment notebook? |

| Organization - sometimes a very huge word. In organization, we try to emphasize keeping their locker neat (yes, we can imagine what their rooms look like), keeping their trapper keeper in order so that they can find their work, and planning ahead, not waiting until the last minute for assignments to get completed. We stress using their free time to their best advantage. When you get your assignment done, do you grab another book to work on, or do you stare out the window?? Having all the necessary supplies (pencils, pens, books, notebooks, homework) when they get into the classroom is also very important. |
