Henry-Senachwine Grade School has a second computer lab since Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests requires more computer seats. In addition to the frequent achievement tests being administered on computers, the Internet has become such an important source of information that students need more access than at any time in the past. Research projects start early in the school year and continue throughout the educational process. What a fun way to learn!! |

Many classes come to the Computer Lab to do research on the Internet. Third graders learn about Native Americans. They must find out about the Indians that live in their assigned area. Back in the classroom, the students will finish projects related to the tribe they learned about on the computer. |

They each visit many Internet sites to gather the information needed to plan a trip and figure the expenses. In addition they became familiar with the electronic encyclopedia, Encarta, as they find facts and pictures of their featured country. |
