Regional winners go to State! Austin K. and Mark L. won the trophy for Technical Achievement at the Streator Regional. This was honoring them for using multiple sensors and especially for using a touch sensor to start the execution of each part of their multi-faceted program.
At the State Competition northwest of Chicago, the Lego Lords consisting of Austin K. and Mark L., experienced the challenge of being the first Robot Raiders Club members to meet the best and the brightest of Illinois. The judges were in a class of their own and there were many small group experiences that enhanced the experience. Many family members, friends and school staff members came to wish us well. It was a fantastic day! |

The Robot Teams goes to a Scrimmage in Peoria at the Lincoln Middle School. This year, the teams made the following scores: Angelo and Holden with a score of 185, Grace and Abby with a score of 155, Mark and Austin with a score of 180, and Evan and Colton with a score also of 180. Good job!! |

Our Regional Competition The robot club is at the Streator Northlawn School in December for the First Lego League Regional challenge. Everyone is welcome to attend from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
