| In October, our class studied
bats. They also made spooky Halloween
silhouettes. In Math, we are learning about place value.

| They also wrote Halloween stories. The stories were typed in the computer lab. The class added pictures. They are on display in the hallway. |

Once
there was a witch who lived in a spooky castle. Nobody would go in the castle
because she would scare everybody away. One day I went in the
castle. I didn't see a
scary witch, but I saw a lot of ghosts.
I saw a lot of
spider webs. Then I got to
the tallest tower and I saw the witch stirring her brew.
She didn't see me. Then, I snuck up on her and I tripped her into her brew.
She never came back. The
people lived happily ever after.
